Who Am I and Why Would I Do This?

If you have any creativity within you and you pay any attention to it, eventually it must be expressed.  If you try to ignore it, it simply leaks out in small unnoticed bits and leaches away, disappearing forever.  And that’s a shame.  I’ve been away from shooting for a year and away from writing for several years.  But, as my son gets a bit older and I get a little more sleep, the the siren call of that shutter click and my thoughts about what that moment means to me is seducing me again.  I’ve come to the point where I need to recognize it.  If no one ever looks at these pages, still I need to fill them.  Where they’ll take me and how long this ride will last, I’m excited to discover.  I hope you’ll join me on the adventure, I’m looking forward to sharing it!

If what you really wanted on this page were the boring statistics, I’m an incorrigible entrepreneur, a single mom to the most adorable and brilliant child ever, part of a wonderful family and I spend most of my time in the beautiful countryside surrounding Nashville, TN.  I love to hear my son laugh, enjoy great food with close friends, bicycle on rolling hills, walk in the rain, submerse myself in a great story, hike somewhere I’ve never been, spend a day on a sailboat, and learn something new.  Oh, and I have a thing for shoes.
